Unit 7: Configure and Manage Connected Organizations
What is a connected organization?
A connected organization represents an external partner whose users can request access packages.
Supported types:
- Another Microsoft Entra tenant.
- A federated non-Entra directory.
- A domain-based external organization.
Add a connected organization
- Go to ID Governance → Entitlement management → Connected organizations.
- Select + Add connected organization.
- Enter name and description.
- Add directory or domain.
- Assign sponsors (optional).
- Review and create.
