What is a connected organization?

A connected organization represents an external partner whose users can request access packages.

Supported types:

• Another Microsoft Entra tenant.
• A federated non-Entra directory.
• A domain-based external organization.

Add a connected organization

• Go to ID Governance → Entitlement management → Connected organizations.
• Select + Add connected organization.
• Enter name and description.
• Add directory or domain.
• Assign sponsors (optional).
• Review and create.
